Dive Around Texas
DIVE AROUND TEXAS
"Dive Around Texas" is a challenge that was started to promote Texas diving. It typically runs from Jan 1st until around the first week of Oct and awards many great prizes like Bahama dive trips, cameras, regulators, dive computers and more if you complete the challenge. Simply pay the $25 entry fee at your local dive shop to enter, which also gets you a Dive Around Texas t-shirt and a free awards lunch voucher redeemable at the ceremony. Then, make at least 12 dives in at least 4 different locations in Texas during the event, and have your local dive shop verify and stamp your log book. The dives must be a minimum of 15 minutes and each dive enters you for a chance to win prizes during the recognition day ceremony.
